Service Activation
CA Service Manager's carries out all configuration and provisioning tasks required for service activation. It determines the network element's settings relevant to the subscriber's service package, and uses built-in logic to provision the elements appropriately. The framework supports provisioning a variety of elements in your broadband network such as email servers, cable modems, CMTSs (DOCSIS), DSLAMs, and TR-069 and WT-104 compliant devices (DSL Modems, VoIP ATAs). This eliminates the need to maintain costly, complex multi-vendor provisioning systems.

CA Service Manager™ Service Assurance component ensures the availability of critical IP-based services. It monitors the system operations, subscriber services, and equipment to provide a variety of reports; and help customer retention by empowering you to proactively resolve field problems.
