FINE POINT TECHNOLOGIES AND SPHAIRON ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP FOR TR-069/104 IMPLEMENTATION

New York, NY, January 27th, 2006 - Fine Point Technologies, a leader in broadband deployment and provisioning solutions, announced today that Sphairon Access Systems GmbH has joined the CPE Partnership Program. As part of its effort to help DSL providers accelerate the roll-out of new digital services, the CPE Partnership Program will assist Sphairon in implementing TR-069/104 into their new IAD (Integrated Access Device) “Turbolink Voice WLAN” and “Turbolink IAD WLAN”. The program will provide Sphairon with the technology necessary to support TR-069/104, while also offering critical go-to-market vendor support.

As part of the partnership program, Fine Point Technologies will provide Sphairon with both a TR-069/104 server for testing as well as a TR-069/104 embedded client for their CPE devices. Fine Point Technologies will also provide ongoing support for the evolving TR-069/104, TR-098, TR-106, WT-110, TR-111, TR-116, WT-135 and WT-140. specifications to ensure that the Sphairon devices continue to meet the needs of the evolving digital home market.
