FINE POINT TECHNOLOGIES PARTNERS WITH ÈLLA KOMMUNIKASJON AS. TO CREATE A CUSTOMIZED CYBERSOLUTION FOR TRIPLE PLAY DEPLOYMENT

New York, NY, January 6th, 2005 - Fine Point Technologies, a leader in broadband and dial-up deployment provisioning solutions, today announced that Èlla Kommunikasjon AS will deploy a customized Cybersolution for the consumer clients of LOS, the marketing department of Agder Energi, ASA. LOS provides triple play (internet access, VoIP and digital TV services over fiber and ATM) for households in the south of Norway.

The solution created for Èlla Kommunikasjon includes Subscriber Installation Suite. It also includes the industry leading Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) clients, WinPoET and MacPoET, for Windows and Macintosh respectively.

Èlla Kommunikasjon came to Fine Point Technologies because the project was given thirty days to deliver a high quality installation CD using PPPoE as an access client. The short timeframe encompassed the summer holiday period, when human resources, especially in Europe , were somewhat limited. After searching the market for a partner to create an appropriate software solution within a limited budget and timeframe, Èlla Kommunikasjon determined that Fine Point Technologies would provide the best solution.
