Fine Point Technologies offers PPPoE Certification services for hardware manufacturers to ensure that their devices strictly conform to the RFC 2516, A Method for Transmitting PPP Over Ethernet (PPPoE). Devices are tested and certified with the Spirent AX/4000 Broadband Test System.
The Fine Point Technologies PPPoE Certification will emulate up to 32,768 (32K) PPPoX subscribers per port and passes broadband traffic through each session simultaneously. Besides verifying capacity, the device under test is certified against a comprehensive list of access protocols including: PPPoE, PPPoEoA, PPPoA, IGMPoPPPoX, and PPP over L2TP. |
