FINE POINT TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FOR TR-069 AND THE DIGITAL HOME

New York, NY, September 7, 2005 – Fine Point Technologies, a leader in broadband deployment and provisioning solutions, announced today a new go-to-market program for Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) vendors implementing TR-069 solutions. As part of its effort to help DSL providers accelerate the roll-out of new digital services, the CPE Partnership Program assists manufacturers in implementing TR-069 into their digital home CPE product platforms. The program provides partners the technology necessary to support TR-069, while also offering critical go-to-market vendor support.

As part of the partnership program, Fine Point Technologies will provide its partners with both a TR-069 server as well as a TR-069 embedded client for their CPE devices. Fine Point Technologies will also provide ongoing support for the evolving TR-069, WT-104, WT-121 specifications to ensure that the program members’ devices continue to meet the needs of the evolving digital home market.

Participation in the CPE Partnership Program allows members to leverage Fine Point Technologies’ worldwide broadband customer base with opportunities for joint marketing, sales, and engineering support. Customer-ready sales presentations, product demonstrations, and a online sales training portal are available to the partnership program members that reduces the time-to-market of digital home CPE devices by rapidly training the manufacturer’s sales force on how to offer TR-069 solutions.
