Fine Point Technologies, Inc. is a privately-held company founded in 1997. It fostered the broadband era with WinPoET and MacPoET, which enabled the transition from dial-up service to DSL. The company remains focused on developing software tools that connect network operators to their customers with products for:

Today, Fine Point solutions manage both wireline and wireless platforms from a single server and integrate all solutions into a single GUI. With Fine Point, network operators can better manage their brand and their business. Management

Todd R. Ruelle, Chairman & CEO

Mr. Ruelle is a recognized innovator in the telecommunication industry. Since his early days in Bill McGowan’s and Jack Goeken’s MCI, he has focused on strengthening the ties between his company and its customers. By keeping that focus he has brought to market compelling products and services that helped shape the industry to what it is today. As CEO of Sonic Telecom, he launched the first optical international network designed specifically for transmitting video in high-definition--or not--according to customers’ requirements for any given transmission. The network served the leading media centers in Western Europe, the United States and Asia. By coupling the service with by-the-byte billing and delivering bandwidth-on-demand, Sonic was quickly transporting shows for major networks including NBC, ABC, CBS, NFL Channel, RTL, Fox News and others. The service was also quickly adopted by providers of video conferencing services. Sonic Telecom was bought by PanAmSat in 2003 and renamed Access PAS and Mr. Ruelle was named Managing Director of PanAmSat’s European subsidiaries, formerly the Sonic Telecom operations in the region. Prior to starting Sonic, Mr. Ruelle held executive positions at Orion Satellite Corporation, Sprint International and MCI Telecommunications. At MCI, he was part of the five-member team that created and launched the Friends & Family consumer program that propelled MCI from three million to 10 million residential users within 18 months. He was awarded the 1996 WorldCom Group’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” designation, was a finalist for Inc. Magazine’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” designation in 1994 and 1995; was recognized in 1993 by President Clinton for creating the country’s first public transportation service fueled by natural gas (Clean Air Cab Company) and he was a Presidential Appointee to the White House Conference on Small Business. He participants at The World Economic Forum’s regional events. Mr. Ruelle also advises the Communications Advisory Group on mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate strategy. He is an accomplished public speaker and presenter on new technologies and their place in telecommunications.

William C. Fleming, Chief Financial Officer and VP Business Development

Mr. Fleming joined Fine Point Technologies in February 2008 and oversees the finance and business development activities of the company domestically and internationally. He brings extensive international financial management and corporate finance experience to the Company. Prior to joining Fine Point Technologies, Mr. Fleming served two years as a regional CFO for Europe and Latin America for TeleTech Holdings, Inc. where he managed a staff of 50 financial professionals and assisted in the expansion of TeleTech’s offshore markets. Prior to joining TeleTech, he was the Controller and Treasurer from 2003 to 2006 for Comsat International, a Latin America-focused telecom service provider whose principal growth strategy was through an M&A roll-up approach. This approach was initiated by a private equity group which bought a controlling stake in Comsat from Lockheed Martin. Mr. Fleming was brought in to assist in the roll-up strategy; in addition to manage the day-to-day treasury and accounting operations. Before departing for TeleTech, Mr. Fleming assisted in the successful sale process of Comsat. Before joining Comsat, Mr. Fleming worked in investment banking for 2 different regional firms focused on capital formation and M&A in the telecommunications sector. Earlier in his career, he also worked in the corporate finance department of Teleglobe International. Mr. Fleming holds a BA from Syracuse University and obtained an MBA in Finance and International Business from Thunderbird, School of Global Management. He is also a CFA charter holder and a member of the Washington Society of Investment Analysts.

Greg Couture, Vice President of Operations

Mr. Couture came to Fine Point Technologies, Inc. in 2002 with a background in Management of day to day operations within the Telecommunications and Information Technology industries. In his current position Mr. Couture is responsible for all operations and development at Fine Point Technologies, Inc. Mr. Couture's direct responsibilities include the day to day Management of operations, development, quality assurance, pre-sales support, solution architecture & implementation, project and risk management, solution delivery, support and most importantly overall customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Fine Point Technologies, Mr. Couture was the Director of Operations for a Manhattan-based customer relationship Management (CRM) software company that focused on call center solutions. During this time, Mr. Couture was responsible for the overall Management of architecting, integrating and implementing custom call center solutions for such organizations as New York Presbyterian Hospital, United Jewish Appeal, and Care Plus Health Care.

Robert E. Barr, Director

Robert E. (Bob) Barr joined Blockbuster, Inc. in Dallas, Texas in October 2008 as Vice President and General Manager of Blockbuster.com and is charged with leading Blockbuster’s online retail and rental subscriptions businesses (www.blockbuster.com). Blockbuster Inc. (NYSE: BBI, BBI.B) is a leading global provider of in-home and portable movie and game entertainment, with more than 7,500 stores throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. Prior to his current role, Mr. Barr served with Education Management Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as Senior Vice President of Interactive charged with leading the development of interactive student experiences, online communities and overall web strategy (www.edmc.edu) for The Art Institutes, Argosy University, South University and Brown Mackie Colleges. Mr. Barr has also served with USAA in San Antonio, Texas as the Vice President of eCommerce Marketing. In this role he was challenged to lead in the design and development of www.usaa.com as a world-class and best-in-class financial services website serving all of the online needs of USAA’s Membership. Prior to USAA, he served as the senior marketing executive for Americas Product Management with Dell, Inc.. In those roles he was responsible for all sales and marketing I/T investments supporting Dell’s revenue and profitability targets in North and South America. These investments included customer relationship and order Management, sales force automation, and pricing as well as Dell's highly admired internet properties (including www.dell.com) which provide online shopping, purchasing, invoicing and customer support. Prior to that role he held other roles within Dell including Director of Americas e-Business, Director of Government Marketing and Director of Federal Marketing. Prior to Dell, Mr. Barr served for twenty-one years in several information technology sales, marketing and development roles. Mr. Barr earned his BS from the University of South Carolina, MBA from The Wharton School and in 1999 successfully completed Harvard's Advanced Management Program.

Hank Firey, President and Chief Executive Officer, VPI Systems, Inc.

Hank brings over 30 years of accomplishments in the telecommunication and information technology industries. He has held positions of executive leadership responsibility in high technology companies ranging from being a member of the founding team of a company developing remote network management software to managing P&L in Fortune 500 global organizations. Before joining VPIsystems, Hank served as Chief Executive Officer of NexTone Communications. He took this struggling provider of telecommunication software to market leadership in Session Management for voice and video over IP networks. From 1998-2003, he successfully turned two other under-performing companies into sustainable, revenue-generating businesses. Hank also has a successful track record in worldwide sales, marketing, business development and professional services, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the University of Maryland, with graduate work in Computer Science and Finance.

Jeff Lindauer, Director

For more than 20 years, Jeff Lindauer has led high performing software technology and telecommunication companies. Mr. Lindauer currently servers as the Chief Executive Officer of TrueContext. Prior to joining TrueContext, Mr. Lindauer was CEO of Spontaneous Technology, a wireless synchronization company acquired by IntelliSync. Mr. Lindauer also served as President and CEO of SkyTel, and Chief Operating Officer for SmarTalk Telecommunications, acquired by AT&T. This followed a 14-year career with MCI Telecommunications where Mr. Lindauer served as Vice President and General Manager of the PrePaid Card unit after holding several senior management positions in the company's Business Markets division. Mr. Lindauer began his telecommunications career with Mountain Bell in 1982. Mr. Lindauer also currently serves as Chairman of Q Inc, a QoE software company located in San Francisco.

Ross Martinson, General Partner, Edison Ventures

Ross Martinson, General Partner, leads Edison's investment focus in technology-driven Business Services companies. He serves as director of four Edison portfolio companies. Ross manages exit planning for private companies and exit execution for public companies. He is an Advisory Board Member of the Private Equity CFO Association and the New Jersey Technology Council CFO Board. Ross joined Edison in 1989. He was Chief Financial Officer during his earlier years with Edison. Ross was a Certified Public Accountant. Previously, Ross was Vice President with the securities firm of Kidder, Peabody. Ross was Controller of two successful start-up businesses: American Express Leasing and ABB Financial Services. For six years, he was also Senior Auditor with Arthur Andersen.
